Hello,

I picked up my august 2007 pathfinder aventura yesterday and I love it so far but I have one issue.

The auto lights seem to work fine but the auto wipers don't seem to work at all. I get one wipe when I flick the switch to auto then nothing. The intermittent wipe doesn't do anything either.

I've had a look in the book to make sure I'm doing it right and I think I am if anyone can confirm. Should I be pushing the switch down one notch and that's it?

They work on one push up, normal speed and mega fast speed but thats all.

I hope it just me! Thanks for any help!

yes one knock down and that should be in auto mode which you can then adjust the intermitance of the wipers by turning the dial on the wiper arm.

if not then you have a problem, poss faulty rain sensor on the windscreen behind rear view mirror, biggest cause of damaged rain sensors are if the windscreen has been replaced and sensor gets knocked or not repositioned right, or the wrong windscreen gets fitted and doesnt have the access area on the windsceen for the sensor to work......................intermitant auto mode still relys on water hitting the screen/sensor for them to operate.

Ok thanks I will try and get the cover off and see if there's anything obvious hopefully I can just push it home or something.

I will report back!

You are on the button I don't think it's pushed on the screen enough. I popped the cover off and it started working. I just need some rain now and I can sit there and have a play and try to get it working right :)
