I was reading on a Kenwood site the other day about a VW Scirocco they modified as their show car. They fitted some pretty neat footwell lighting. It appeared to glow blue from behind the dash and from under the front seats to illuminate the front and the back. I find the Nav quite dark inside and I'm tempted to do something similar, but wouldn't know where to start to be honest, or where to get the kit from. I think blue may do your head in after a while, so white may be better??? Any ideas?

the wiring aspect won't be too much of a headache, I'd have it from an ign live and a switch in case I want to isolate them. I want a decent light output but not too much- does that make sense? If anyone can give me any pointers or tell me anywhere to get such a light set from it would be greatly appreciated.

I'd get some flexible LED striplight off ebay which you can cut to length and fit anywhere out of sight.

I've blue interior lights with blue lights at your feet and under the drier passenger seat facin the rear. They are quite bright but sometimes at night it can be hard to see out the windows on dark roads with reflection.
