Now im not sure how this will sound to others as i have too much bass on my setup here. You will hear the tapping'rattling when im lifitng on and off the throttle. On the 1st video around the 30 second mark you can hear me repeatedly lifitng on and off the throttle ( i hope)

Almost ditto, but with different exhaust resonance, mine is euro3. Most noticeable in tunnel. You opened the window yes? Perhaps do a video with bonnet up and revving engine.
I have a custom exhaust with no silencer and tried not to let that make too much noise. I did do a vid with it parked up but its not the same when under slight load.

To be honest i think most navaras do tend to rattle a bit especially in the cold looks like nissan have tired there hardest to make sure its ok and as there engineer has found nothing wrong i would just accept it drive it and enjoy it it may well quieten down with a few steady miles on it as when you buy then they have normally been stopped/started and driven very short distances a fair few times. I take it they have sorted out the clunk from the rear?
The clunk from the rear is sorted, it was worn rubber bushes between the leaf springs, they had uneven wear and blamed it on the 22's i run on, in fact if you read the CS email i posted they blame just about everything on the 22's   I have a member from here with an 06 coming over tomorrow, ill have a listen to his and run mine to see what he thinks.

Driving onto the site the other day the blokes in the office said i hear they didnt fix the noise then, when i asked what he was on about he said i told them it had a bad rattle and nissan were looking into it.....these chaps are non nav owners and said there is no way it sounded right....maybe i will have to accept all nav engines after the euro 3 are *****.

Yeah i did notice the 22's are the root of all evil attitude but don't most dealers sell 22's for the navs? really cant see it making any difference surly the truck should be over engineered to take hammer and vibrations through the wheels.
I compleatly understand why your getting frustrated all i was suggesting was that it looks like you have gone as far as you can with Nissan and mabe just let it go for the time being and see if the problem goes away/gets better or failing that cut to the chase and demand a refund and spend your money els where. to be honest i don't think i will be swapping my 06 euro 3 for anything in a hurry even if i had the money i think when its time comes i will have to jump to the 190 model
Thats the problem, they are slower, have a slower top speed and owners are saying they sound ****, as for the V6 they only do about 14 miles then blow up  looks like retaining a nav into the future will be hard work :?

both mine sound the same, but it varys in loudness day to day, i gess that is down to different weather condidtions etc.....one day it can be silent and others it can be as loud as yours......

They are blaming the knocking noise on the 22s......but didnt you have the problems from when you bought the truck????? ie...before you fitted the wheels???

They are blaming the wheels and the exhaust  Just been out testing it again and if i feather the throttle for a while then accelerate i get the proper injector rattle, no fooking way is it running right. Im going to get an independent report next week.

I need someone in the Southampton area from on here to come and give it a go :thumbright:

If you really are only getting 19mpg then that sounds like there is sompthing wrong. Is there no way you can just reject the vehicle in light of all the problems and buy a nice low mileage 06 or 56?
I would accept like for like 08 aventura with around 40k on the clock, but i have no idea where i stand

The video I can hear the injectors making a noise but that is mainly commonrail pressure at full boost and torque. I think most of the sound I can hear is your air box. Most noise from injectors are between 1500rpm to 2200rpm that's when fuel is at full chat from alot lower pressure. Turbo is on full whined up at this rpm range, Hence air box working at full chat making noise.

Still know pdi harness with right settings will quiten down your injector chatter. Fuel, duration will change the sound mate.

The dte/pdi was connected in that video, hasnt changed the sound of the rattle when feathering the throttle. having said that i have barely done 10 miles and no reset and when collected the mrs today i did seem a tad quieter, so am not sure how this one will end.
