No he's not, he's a cretin.... only worsened by the fact he's video'd it and posted it on the internet.

Not quite sure why he felt the need.
colin, it was his choice to do what he did...if he had got caught then he pays the price.... tns also did say the road was clear...

And at 100mph you don't come up on other vehicles quickly,

Does he know the braking distance of a pick-up at 100mph,

What would happen if a conrod decided to exit the block at that speed,

Would it still be cool if it was your family heading in the opposite direciton that had a head-on with a pick-up driver that totally disregards speed limits....?

mate relax and breath and if you read the posting it says that the a12 was clear, needless to say that my nav is on 147 thousand now and no rods shooting out anytime soon if in the even it did im a mechanic

admin please feel free to lock and unlock

from my experience in my navara ,it doesn't take long to get to 100 mph and at the same time it doesn't take long to get back to 70/80 mph..i've only done this when (like tns) the road is clear and the conditions are acceptable..

i doubt if anyone who has been driving for a while knows any of the braking distance's but again an experienced driver wont speed if he thinks he cant slow down to an acceptable speed..

yes, a conrod could go through the block at that speed, but anything could brake/blow........anyway this is a d40 not a d22

as for meeting my family coming the other way , is the a12 not a dual carriage way..

Yeah it is a dual carriage way and is a farely straight road

but how people manage to meet accidents on straight road beats the guts out of me anyway everybody has there own opinions views etc so i guess collin the COP has one to

i wonder what does he do when his late for a meeting, work, ect  collin do you really drive 40 and 50

as you say colin ''driving beyond their abilities'' .....which doesn't mean tns was..

Yes, and mine is based on dealing with the aftermath of accidents of people who are driving beyond their abilities.
you know once i was on the m25 with my brand spanking new car and a ambulance hit me so far of the road the car was called to rest in just 3 days  so dont think that because you have a high pro file job that if someone does something like that they wont be able to handle the circumstances.

drinking and driving what do you tell a drunk person ?
person drugged of there mind what do you tell them ?
people that drive with there children in there front seats with no belts on what do you tell them?

the list goes on and we can go on and on and on

colin every person has a brain and has the ability to use it !

Ok, lets hold off passing judgement until he evidences his abilities.

:?:
i think tns has by stating that the a12 was clear at the time....
