its not too much to ask that when you pull up at a pump on your drivers side you leave the guy on your near side enough effing room to get back in his motor is it????????? had this at my local sainsburys numerous times now and blew a gasket today. pulled up nice and tight to the pump on my left...filled up...went to pay...came back out and the idiot on my right was 3 effing feet away from the pump and 6 effing inches away from my nav. no way i was getting in it...now i'm usually quite a tolerant sort of bloke but this sort of ignorant disregard for other motorists really p**sses me off...got to admit i stomped up to the guy and asked him how the **** i was supposed to get in my truck and pointed out (quite firmly) the huge gap between his car and the pump he was using closely followed by a forthright description of his intellectual capacity and what i would do with his driving licence if i had the opportunity....to be fair he did move it straight away...

I stopped to let an artic do a blind side reverse the once.

Nice summers day so didn't mind, some old dear pulls round me to go past.

Straight out the window shouting at her, hurling abuse, christ i think she **** herself lol. Did feel a bit bad for shouting at her, but some peoples common sense is none existent!

That reminds me, the garage i use, the pumps are in pairs and in one section the first pump has diesel/petrol, the second petrol only. I drove in and stopped at the first pump for diesel, got out, and the chap in the car behind got out and totally chucked his toys out, he went right off on one, why couldn't i f**king move on to the next pump etc, etc. I just stood there with my arms crossed, looking down at him (little man syndrome  T-wat), and when he eventually ran out of steam, i quietly envited him over to the next pump and asked where he thought i could get diesel from = 1 very embarrased little man :D :D .

i must just attract these morons i think...few weeks ago went to b & q, car park one end was totally empty so i parked up (anyone else always park in the furthest away from the entrance end of the car park ?)...must have been 200 empty spaces around me, went in, got my tube of silicone, came back out just in time to see the oldest fiesta in the world park up IN THE NEXT SPACE and start to disgorge mum (at least 18 stone) dad (at least 20 stone) and several snotty brats (all eating burgers and chucking litter everywhere), they had parked so close to me they were actually struggling to get out of the car!!!! Needless to say they got the hairdryer treatment as well. Its at times like these when i really do think this country is well and truly in the s**t.

I do the weekly shop in our house (don't ask  ), so every tue night i turn up at the supermarket and everyone parks around the door, so off i go to the section that's all empty spaces, park up and i walk towards the entrance. And every week, without fail, there'll be a large van or 4x4 trying to squeese into a space between cars- why not drive a little further where it's all empty ???? - and then when i come out, there be a whole load of cars parked all around the truck - is it some sort of herd instinct or something, bugger off to the empty spaces and leave my truck alone

glad its not just me then Tucker, i too am burdened with the weekly shop (don't ask me either :? ) and have a sense of knowing dread that one day the only way i will be able to get back in to my vehicle is through the sun roof, no matter how far away from the entrance i park or how deserted the car park is when i turn up it always happens. I was thinking about fitting some sort of tazer with a motion sensor....maybe i should suggest it to halfords....this time next year etc

by the way the b & q post isn't having a pop at...ahem..."larger people", i'm no Kate Moss myself....the point was if they needed to open the doors to their fullest extent in order to extricate themselves from a small 2 door hatchback then why not park where this would be at least a remote possibility????...it was like watching "Its a knock out" *** (showing my age there)

There's an old thread on here that i started, some T-wat took the paint of my front bumper 4 days after i had the truck new, and yes, bloody supermarket car park - don't get me going on that again

And then there's the dozy pelicans that buy ÂŁ5 of fuel and go and do a weeks shopping totally oblivious to anyone else waiting to use the pumps.

Kids running about on forecourts, especially in the summer.

Folks that slow down for speed cameras.

Retired folks shopping at weekends, THEYVE GOT ALL WEEK!

Those incapable of maintaining a constant speed.

Kids 3 up in Corsa's, the one in the back is never wearing a seat belt and hanging over the front seats you just know the driver has 10% of his limited IQ on the job in hand.

Plod overtaking when I'm sticking religiously to the speed limit, dog vans are the worst.

Potholes, worse than ever because they made a PPJ of repairing them last year.

Cyclists (also know as organ donors) in packs, is it for protection or are they hunting?

Badgers, why can't we shoot badgers, why are they protected, farmers want the numbers down, MAFF Defra or who ever it is want to trap them gas them otherwise be beastly to them but we cant shoot the buggers.

Scrotes, why do the banks give them accounts and credit cards, they can't/wont pay the bills so we all pay higher bank charges.

David Cameron, frigs about cuts a few public sector jobs, lies to industry, ups taxes, penalises anyone who makes a few bob and now just wants to make sure he's reelected, is it any wonder we are a laughing stock.

How about pepper spray jets attached to truck and a PIR that will stop the idiots parking so close.

Must take my medication and have a lye down now.

pothunter mate...you forgot the inland revenue, VOSA, police repeatedly putting petrol into diesel cars AND THEN having the neck to lecture everyone else about driving (kent are particularly good at that), russians in your holiday resort, the USA in general and how utterly hopeless your MP is (don't matter who it is, he/she WILL BE hopeless)

might have to start a new thread or two

Trying to be restrained, before I'm restrained, MEP's 5 years in Brussels entitles them and their hangers on to full Euroland pensions..............must go take more medicine.

i'll elaborate for you alex...and this is only my experience as a van courier in central london a few years ago....total c*nts mate...in fact my crowning achievement was when i noticed a cyclist "surfing" on my nearside (i'm sure you are aware that this goes on....when they hold on to your van for a ride) driving my van down London Wall, i emergency stopped and he went straight into my nearside mirror face first....YES!!...i've seen cyclists put peoples lives at risk with their "i'm on a bike so no rules apply to me" attitude...so stick your bike firmly up your a*se...

you can find fault with any group on the road - cyclists, caravanners, tractors, off roaders etc,all have a few that bring the majority into disrepute, so lets keep it off here OK?

My two things:

Those people who are in front of you at the pump who seem to perform a full 50 point check inside the car before driving off.

The girls who ride their horses slowly down the middle of the road flaunting the fact that they are legally allowed to use their phones while riding.

ok...a)its not a personal attack rob, if it came across like that i unreservedly apologise

b) the previously described incident was at less than 5mph approaching traffic lights

c) i agree that van and car drivers display totally shocking road use...but i maintain that cyclists seem to think rules don't apply to them (then hold up the green card in order to try and justify it)..same goes for motorcyclists

d )i'm grown up...but thanks for your concern alex
