recall/campaign q

not got my nav yet but, the deal is pretty much sorted, so i rang my local nissan dealer and asked about the campaign/ recall for the timing chain for the 03 model, unfortunatly i didnt have the chasis no just the reg, but the awkward women was adament that there has never been a recall/campaign for the timing chain!!! but coudlnt check til i got chasis no

so before i ring back tomorrow is there a specific campaign number or a proper name for it.

or anybody work for nissan and fancy checking for me :shock:

As I distrust dealerships immencely from previous experiances I visited 2 and asked the question.
On both occasions I offered the chassis number but both said the registration was enough.
I also got them to print of the results to keep in my records so if the tensioner let go I'd have some 'ammo'

so its a tensioner recall, any no's for it or correct name??

I don't have that info, someone on here may have the details but just ask them what 'campaigns' maybe remaining on your vehicle.
