Diesel Additive

Right, got a little rattle from the injectors (bag of spanners on spindry is a better description!), before I go down the replacement route, I want to try giving them a clean. Going to fill up in the morning with Shell's soopa-doopa diesel, but I want to put something in the tank that migh clean of the worst *****.

Nav is currently 3.5k short of service 2 (36k'er).

Suggestions appreciated.

Amsoil Diesel Fuel Additive comes to mind. Also a high dose of Cetane Boost and you're in the game

I've been using the Redex injector and fuel system cleaner.

Noticed an immediate improvement on amount of rattle using Shell Ultimate, as well as improved pick-up and mpg looked better.

Might start using this every couple of fill-ups and give sainsburys a miss from now on.
