Mine are sat in the shed like new, no rush!

Booked in not yet checked. I also have three spares but Nissan tell me these not covered by the recall. Dealer wants ÂŁ220 to check these and will not warranty that they are safe, so that's ÂŁ400 down the pan then And this is a safety recall, As usual **** customer care and PR by Nissan. same as last 3 years of clutch discussions, Never again, Never had so much trouble with any vehicle in 40 years of motoring.

I would get on to Nissan direct about this as im sure in the letter it says sompthing about having spare sets of wheels checked and replaced doesnt it???

Booked in @ 2 today, apparently it takes Nissan 90 mins to check 5 wheels.
According to my letter, replacement from existing stock if alloy(s) are defective.

Replacement mid-September if alloys not showing defect (source local Nissan dealer)

Will let you know the outcome this evening.

Keep trucking...

Been here well over an hour, waited 30mins before they started the check,
Just been informed I have a number plate bulb out. Asked if I wanted it done?

Are they checking my wheels or trying to find something to bill me for?
It's not dark so they shouldn't have my lights on.

Starting to take the Mick now...

Ok just got the Nav back. Air conditioning had been turned on, air vents moved out of position,
Rear seat arm lowered, 4wd been selected.

Furthermore wheels have been cleaned in places looks a mess
As if you have tried to clean your wheels and given up half way through.

Nissan have you checked my wheels or messed with my motor?

As the rep returned the keys a series of questions were asked,

Do you usually drive empty/ half ladened / full ladened.
Do you usually drive motorways, urban, unurban.

He then said Nissan would send a letter.

This is a farce. And the new wheels look puny.
