Doing it this weekend not seen the truck this week Mrs. fish been in work all day then gym in the evenings, :( been doing my homework and the bumper I have fitted the bolts need to be removed and the tow bar fitted directly to the chassis then the bumper needs to be fitted to the tow bar all the holes line up so it all bolts up as one. :study:
One of the members did suggest that it is easier to remove the side cheeks on the tow bar and fit these first, then offer the main cross member up to the side cheeks and bolt on. So I have removed the side cheeks ready to fit also in doing this I have found out that the side cheeks have extra holes in them so if you don’t have a bumper the tow bar can be fitted close to the back of the truck, but if like me you have the steep bumper you can move the cross member out further away to clear the steep bumper.
Also bought a 2 foot long power bar from Halfords as some of the nuts can be fooking tight   as suggested buy another member
Plus I can then keep the power bar in the truck with the right size socket to fit the wheel nuts so if I do need to remove a wheel I can
