Rally raid

After a lot .... well I hope so :shock:

of thought I've decided I would like a nice 04 Rally raid. Looking around there don't seem to be to many about, although there is a niceexample on ebay

I was just wondering if experienced owner/members thought this was a fair price ?

I was also wondering, with there being few red ones about whether a canopy would be difficult to source or more expensive ?

Of course if anyone knows where there are other genuine 'rally raid' versions for sale, I'd be grateful to know

I love the Rally Raid and envy them when I see one. They are beautiful and stronger underneath.

Doesent look a bad price as it has low miles and looks tidy. They are limeted editon so there wwere only 100 of each colour for the uk, (Red, black and silver)

Forgot to say I have seen a few with matching canopys, shauny has one on his red one.

there's a nice one in Hagley west midlands at a dealer red in colour think it had a snugtop £9400

I do indeed. Standard snugtop - does the job well.

what makes a Rally Raid stronger on the underside ?? Is there some guards or extra bracing fitted ??

I can't tell a difference between mine and the Rally Raids.. (would be interesting to know)

Yep guards and tubular strenghthening to the chassis.

Glad i could help out jonlaw :wink: i went past this afternoon saw it on the front of the dealer couldn't get a good look i was towing our new caravan :lol: got anymore details about it was i correct with the price etc

Hi Rich it was £8400 plus the lb of flesh for the VAT man and I've got them to deliver it to N.Wales in with the price.

One owner, full service history, no commercial use but its got 58,000 on the clock.

will post up some photo's if anyones interested next wednesday when it arrives

Was it a private owner cause surely then theres no vat to pay :?
