increased wind noise after having alphatop fitted

Hi all,

Just had my hardtop fitted and i'm curious if anyone else noticed an increased wind noise after having one fitted? What would be the cause of this. Anyone got suggestions for 'a cure'?

I solved a similar issue for a customer that fitted a hardtop. In his case, it was the rear quarter window. I had to squeeze some window sealant in between the rubber and the glass. The wind was sucked in at the quarter window and out at the vent behind the rear seat backrest causing a major wind noise.

Yip, best way is to let someone sit in back seat while you cruise to determine wherer the noise is from, but very likely as I described. Hope you get it solved - on the other hand, if brand new, make it Nissan's problem if the noise is from the cab else if the noise is from the lid, get the hardlid company to sort it. They should sort it under wnty.

I recall getting into the bin with the hardlid closed. The customer drove down the motorway while I :bounce: tried to figure :roll: where the noise was from - one of the scariest :shock: experiences of a lifetime...
