As above, what year did the UK get the D22 with the YD25 engine?
Here in NZ it was 2003 and only in the 2wd, the 4wd was ZD30.

Good luck with that, I think Countryman also had that problem, he ended up putting in a new engine then he got rid

That price isn't that bad, certainly cheaper than I'd usually find here.
It's the toss up between finding one in this country, paying more and thinking it'll be okay. Vs getting one overhauled in the UK, paying a bit more but knowing it's good. Getting one overhauled here is vomit inducing expensive.
My work car pump died a few months back, I'm up and running with a D22 pump I picked up dirt cheap (like 60 quid cheap), but it's not delivering around 30% less fuel than it should.
