Hi Guys, Girls,

And a few pictures of my Navara, I'll update here when more toys get added :)

At the dealers...

And next day at AutostylingUK for some toys...

And with the PaceEdwards Bedlocker Rollcover (tonneau) and 'sports' bar installed. Very neat job done and no drilling to my bed...

very neat cover install
Yeah I can't recommend the guys/girls from Autostylinguk enough. I called them on 22/12 in the morning, they got me booked in for the next morning for an install. They actually build it all together in the evening to then just lift it in in the morning. Very nice people, good waiting area, excellent coffee, and a no quibble 10% discount for being a forum member. Great. Loving the tonneau cover, the remote is so cool. The people at our local household waste recycling place couldn't believe it when they saw it. I'm so glad I spent the extra for it....

Just need to get the BedRug installed underneath it as it wasn't in stock....

I normally hate black cars, but the Navara is sufficiently big to carry it off. Although from a cleaning perspective I am already regretting it. It gets dirty so quickly.....

Next will be the Bedrug, and a Steelmate PTS800v3 for reversing sensors front/back install.

Now I've looked at your pics again, its a really nice install.

I like the look of the chrome bar, and how it all looks right, not like some I've seen that look a bit bodged tbh.

If it wasn't for needing a SnugTop, your roll n lock / chrome bar combo would be my alternative choice.

What I especially like about it is that it all gets mounted without any drilling, AND the c-rail system is still operable. I'm just loosing 4 positions against which I can't put the loops. From research on the pre-crash version of this board I understood that not all systems allow the use of the c-rail due to the clamps, and/or the overhang which could block the ability to take the loops on/off the c-rail system. Hope that makes sense....

And yes it all looks right, sometimes the bar seems to get raised and then is above the roofline...And the cover is quite flush with the bed instead of plonked on top of it....I haven't dared to stand on it though, may have to do that to check out its strength...

very nice mate - it is ignition live, or acc?
If battery is flat, have you got a crank handle?

No comment about the geezer with the camcorder!
It is acc, with a rollin code rf remote. And yes there is a manual crank to open it, but you need to climb/slide in from underneath.

Yeah sorry about my reflection ;-) Next time I film it even dirtier the cars bodywork that is :)

Never thought when I was young we would be a two Datsun household ;-)

Question:

What stops water leaking in at the end against the tail door?
Does the locker just butt up to it?
The locker just butt up to it. The end has got a soft rubber seal that gets pushed against it and so far with the snow and ice and rain it has stopped the water getting in that way. In addition I have put rubber seals along the sides and bottom of the tail door as well to close those gaps with the bed.

Fingers crossed it stays like that...

I got the seals also from autostylinguk. They are based just west of Birmingham. Take a look on their website for the details.

I like black when clean, but I think I should have gone for silver. Storm grey was my second choice when I ordered looks nice and now I think I would prefer over black.
