Is it the hose that's leaking or is it the washer jet that's cracked? Either way take the grill off to get access to the back of the jet, take the clip off and
pull the jet out. You might be able to repair or the hose might just be off.

Had the same problem with mine, mine was leaking through the jets all the time very slowly, took off the grill and replaced the little non return valves on the washer rubber hose one for either headlamp jet assembly.nearside easy job but off side one bit more involved I had to remove the wheel arch liner but no problems after.just to be sure I also fitted one in the middle behind the grill just to help the near side one.hope this helps and the little non return valves from halfords in the little odds and sods section about £1.80 I paid.

Any one got photos? My offside (uk driver's side) is weaping and has left lime scale on the bumper. I have taken off the front grill but can't see the washers or any pipes. Is there another grill I need to remove.

Does the washer jut pull out or is it secured behind somewhere?

Thanks for any help

Hi, I am looking at mine this morning as both my headlamp washers were weaping to the point of draining the washer bottle. I couldn't reach the one way valves by taking the grill alone off so have taken the wheel arch lining out and got at it that way. The washers themselves are secured by slide out (from below) clips so you can't simply pull them out..

Off to Halfords now for some replacement one-way valves.

Help needed... Update from earlier today.. I went to Halfords and purchased two replacement one-way valves. Having fitted them, I tried to work out how the pipes from the headlamp washers connect to the washer bottle (this had been previously detached by a friend to stop the initial leaking but he can't remember how it goes back together). I guess that i'd need a 'T' piece which I then fitted in-line with the front washer pipe. However, whenever I use the front washer water comes out of the headlamp washers (even if the headlamps are turned off). I disconnected the headlamp washer pump but it still comes out of the headlamps so I think I must have the piping plumbed in incorrectly.

Could someone pleaes help and let me know how / where the headlamp washers piping should be plumbed into the main reservoir or other piping.

Any help is much appreciated.

pm me your email and i'll send over the technical manual.

Hi Mymorph<

I'm still new to Forums but I've tried to PM you (not sure it's worked as it's showing in my 'Outbox' rather than 'Sent'. Please let me know if you've not got anything and I'll try again.

With thanks,
Gareth

email sent. i think PMs show in outbox until they've been read.

Update re the headlamp washers.. I've now fitted two one-way valves in the tubing between the headlamp washer pump and the jets. This has stopped the nearside one leaking but there is still a small 'dribble' coming from the offside (nearest the pump). I'm off to Halfords again today to get another one-way valve which will hopfully do the trick.

Failing that, I'll disconnect the headlamp pump and tubing and go back to the old fashioned (but always works well) washing the car to keep it clean! [:)]
