Hello All,
After 10mths of great trouble free fun with the pathfinder :clappy: after previously owning a Terrano sport 3.0ltr
I'm now just having my first few issues  so could do with a bit of help?
It's always ( well for the last 10mths I have had it) every now again during idle it will have a drop in revs then a jolt as it gets back to life? I just assumed it was the aircon pump kicking in and out and over the winter it did seem to disappear? (aircon now also Knackered but that another issue )
But over the last 2 weeks it has started to become a lot more frequent, I did a ECU reset on Sunday and now although it's quieter and drives much better in general it has now stalled a few times whilst idling and once when approaching a roundabout but re-started as soon as the clutch was raised?
I can find old posts from people with the same issue but none with any kind of outcome?
Don't really know where to start?

No I ask him to repost to see if anybody can help :D

Bugger off you two
I was just trying to be helpful :study: to see if we could get a possible answer to the problem
I'm curious as to what could cause this :study:

I would say its the fule pressure regulator on the back fo the fule pump, nissan call it the suction control valve, to properly diagnoise it you will need to get someone with good diagnostic equiptment (not cheap ebay stuff) that can read the fule rail pressure, if it spikes the drops then stalls it would suggest it is the SCV allowing the pressure to rise to high then the FPR (fule pressure releif) valve opens and the pressure dips right down and the engine stalls
if you searc for suction control valve you should find Andys thread on it

Thanks All,
I was going to start with the EGR, fuel filter etc first but the suction control valve does sound like it could be the cause from what I have read!
I'm going to give it some attention next week so I'll come back with my findings?
