Tailgate Liner Bolts

The bolts that hold the liner to my tailgate where rather rusty and one was missing.

I had just bought a pack of M6 flange button headed bolts to tidy up the holes from removing my roof rails and has some left over

So after a quick chase through with an M6 tap I now have a much smarter tail gate.

Only a small mod but worth the 10 mins it took I think.

nice touch and simple, id advice you take off that plastic and inspect the tail gate for rust around the screw holes, as that may be the reason why one was missing.

The old fixing are very coarse self tappers into plastic plugs I had a quick look through the fixing hole but there was no sign of corrosion. :thumbright:

I always use stainless screws for exterior stuff :wink:
