Does anyone know if the DTE, PDI combo and pedal box for the euro 4, work on the euro 5 engine
Seeing as you've taken the time and effort to moan about it, maybe another few taps of the keys in this thread to answer the question might have been helpful eh?Linley said:Why did post the same question in. 3 different sections.
I could answer but would't know which one to reply to.
All the autos have dpf anyway (apart from early euro3s). It's not a case of the dte is affected by the dpf its a case of the dte affecting the dpf. Auto boys have found they can run higher settings due to the dpf and keeping smoke levels right down and in some cases to non existent ......but this can only clogg up the dpf over time, it's a case on don't get to greedy with the settings, this applies to the manuals as well.SparkyDave said:The Euro 5 engine is the same engine as the Euro 4 190 (188) as far as I know - the Euro 5 tag is achieved by the addition of a DPF.
Whether this affects the DTE in any way, I have no idea.
