Advice for fitting a 12v power outlet in pick up bed area?

I am thinking about fitting a power outlet in the pick-up bed area of my truck. Can anyone advise if a weather proof outlet exists and if anyone has already done, what advice can be offered?

Hi Carts thanks for the information, I appreciate it I did do a search but it did not bring up your thread I'm afraid Where would you recommend I pick up the waterproof 12v adapter? Thanks again

Strange but no worries!

I'm sure I got mine off eBay, but I hAve been know to use http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/

I feel like a child who's just discovered Disneyland! There's stuff on there that I've wanted for ages but didn't know where to look.

No problem, it's a bit of a credit card danger site, they are very helpful as well, they ship to me here and even with shipping it's so much cheaper than local purchase..
