Try replacing the hose clips with the screw type

I zam going to replace them today, however it has had a fairly recent filter change and I am wondering if the pipe were put back correctly on top of the filter.

Anyone have a photo of the fuel filter they could post up please.

2007 Navara d40 2.5L
 
ok, there are two diffrent types of filters used, one is the type with a housing on the top and a hand primer (see below) the other is a filter with pipe outlets built on the top .. (cant help with picture of that style)

Cheers for the photo. It is the same setup as on mine. Filter is connected up correctly. I replaced the hose clips and will see if problem is solved. Have a more serious problem though with poer loss and serious amount of black smoke.
