Hi all,
Since putting a chip on my truck it now shudders at around 1500-1800rpm in 4th 5th and 6th with foot to the floor. Clutch doesn't slip (i.e rpms dont jump) it just shudders and goes away.

What might that be? Any ideas?

Thanks
Kyle

What is it d22 or d40

Try turning it down, they fool the ecu Into putting more fuel in, maybe the software is incorrect, or it's overfueling. There should be an adjuster screw under a blank.
Make sure ignition is off before adjustment or you'll put the engine light on an send it in limp mode!
Let us know how ya go on

Newbie here so not familiar at the mo with Navaras as looking to buy hence joining this forum etc. However I have a remapped Mondeo and also get the judder if in the wrong gear eg 4th, but should be in say 3rd and believe it is due to the Dual Mass flywheel shaking its head in defiance. May be talking a load of bull but an engines an engine at the end of the day so principal applies

The dual mass is an option if it's weak. Many replace with a solid single unit as in short... DMF is pants !!!!
If your trying to put too much torque through low revs an the engine would normally struggle, but with chip it pulls... Basically something will give, DMF is basically two flywheels with massive springs in between, have a look on YouTube for knackered dual mass and you'll see the play under torque.
More often than not you will find judder when setting off though rather then when pulling under torque once moving.
Sounds to me like you need to change your driving style a bit, more torque so less pedal and maintain higher revs, don't roll around at 1200rpm everywhere in 12th gear lol.
See how that works, it will take some adjusting to :salute:
