Hi all,

My engine light has just started coming on over the past few days. It's intermittent, just wondered if this was any serious signs of it going bang on me??
Ive had it to my mate who has a diagnostic machine but it wouldn't pick anything up?! He was thinking it may just be a sensor in the cat or some sort of oxy sensor?.

Thanks ash

Check the brake lights bulbs haven't blown.
A ridiculous statement I know, but well worth looking at first.

Had exactly this problem with a blown rear stop/side light bulb once and the second time corroded electrics in the tow bar electrics :?

Thanks a lot for the replies, I had caught my trailer socket, so it must have shorted out. Many thanks.
Same fault as mine then
People think you're taking the pi$$ telling them to check lamps/tow bars when a engine fault is shown
Glad it's sorted and thanks for coming back with the solution as it'll help others in the future :thumbleft:
