Chillax mate, have another B&C and say bollicks to it all :thumbleft:
Worry about it when you get back and anyways you've got their X-Fail now so they ain't gettin it back until they give you written confirmation it's fixed completely otherwise legal /compensation etc will proceed
Still very, very jealous of you being out there, it's the first time in the past 6 years I'm not down in Southern Spain for my 4-6 weeks break :( The eldest is in China on a school trip and the missus is with the younger two in Canada visiting her sister, so I'm 'home alone' for 3 weeks. I didn't go because I'd end up beating the cr&p outta the brother-in-law
I can always fly over, take over the looking after the kids so you can come home and worry about the truck if you want
:cheers2: Woz
Your welcome to the kids  driving me mad, only gotta last till Friday tho and better half will be here to kick all of us into shape  So you in the education game too with your 4-6 wks? or have the luxury of self employment and your company treat

Gotta keep Nissan on their toes and chase or else could be used against me :study: . Enjoy your break, if your like me the first few days alone are great do what you like when you like, then the loneliness takes over and you want em back even tho they can drive you mad. Enjoy your chillax Woz

Well update from dealer Nissan Tech have got them to remove engine bay
wiring loom to check it even tho dealer had checked before. Anyhow completely
taken out checked and as known was perfect. They've now got them to order a new connector to fuel pump :study:

According ti Nissan Gb tech are also getting them to check other stuff too - stuff they've checked before i bet.

Anyhow best news wife out in 2 days and kids are all hers :partycheer:

Well another sweltering 30's + here :faint lol (like the new emoticons by the way). Nissan GB sent 2 Tech's out to my truck unknown to the dealer, turned up out the blue.

Well 4hrs of pressure testing fuel rails and all other sorts of tests the up-shot - order and fit new bay harness :jawdrop - now i'm still awaiting an answer to was the original faulty or are they throwing parts at her - according to the dealer one of the techs is a Navara specialist - yep must be all the practice he gets :dunno

Harness arrived yesterday and was fitted, road testing today with 'plug in reader' fitted just in case any probs :eekout .

Oh well back to the b&c and un-edited radio play records they have here :dj1 as better half and kids at beach.

How well is GB doing in olympics :clap

That's it  rub it in why don't ya
Post a photo clutching a beer whilst sitting on the beach and really take the pi$$
Good to hear they're still beavering away on your truck mate :thumbright:
I'm still putting my money on a connection/loom fault within the passenger compartment because it's a fault occuring with changes in temperature not mileage covered :eek:ops

Well new loom fitted and according to dealer all ok so far (so confident Nissan reader still plugged in just in case  lol).

At least I got an answer from stealer as to why Nissan Tech got em to fit the new loom, seems there was 'no resistance' at ecu for fuel pump so maybe just maybe the fault has been found and I can enjoy her guess time and mileage will tell :nailbiting

I could just do with Nissan honouring a paint claim for leading edge of roof and i'll be a happy bunny :really

Hope it's cured it for ya mate, I really do :fingersx
AND :!: don't you dare let us know how many MORE days you've got left of your hols, because you can go off some people ya know

Hi Woz

Did it ever get solved :eyeroll hmmmmm :dunno dealer according to Nissan GB were carrying out intensive testing while I was away  came back to find they'd done bout 150 mile of going here or there without 'limp', they left me 50 mile of fuel. Now it had a habit of going every 200ish mile so the 'intensive testing' .........i'll let you all make your own mind up on that.

Anyhow the last 'limp' happened 2k after last repair, i've done between 300-500 mile in total since repair and so far :fingersx all seems good i've 'booted' it a couple of times to over take afew slower motors on A roads and no probs, still having probs with the Sat Nav display/radio but no 'limp'. I'm waiting for Nissan GB to answer questions I put to them while away re warranty of work etc as it's been 12months and in that time it's only done 5k (shows how much off the road it's been!!)

So honest answer Woz let you know in 6 months time :nailbiting or sooner if it 'limps'

Thanks for the reply.
Hope this is the end of your nightmare and get something out of Nissan for all your patience waiting for them to sort it.
Remind them that you bought the vehicle to go off-road, not for it to be off of the road!!
Pinkys crossed
