Heya,

My name is Matt Webb. I am a complete petrol head (Offroad, Impreza tuning, Lotus Elise tuning, Landy 90 off roading and Morris Minor restoration).

I am on the look out for a black Navara with the highest spec I can get for about 12-14k.

Our family car is a Disco 4 HSE, that we upgraded from the Disco 3 2.7 litre because the 2.7 litre was a gutless wonder.

So after all that waffle.. Am I going to regret getting a 2.5Litre Navara or should I save my pennies and get a 3litre TDV6?

I just sold my Landy 90 - so am not expecting great power - but the old Disco did my head in.

I will be using the Navara mainly on roads, occasional motorway trips and some work across fields (log collection, tree pulling!).

Anyone driven a disco compared to the Navara?
Can someone point me in the direction of all the models and specs - I think I need the Aventura, but dont want to scrap a good choice based on my ignorance!

Any help appreciated!

Matt

Never mind Jace, they just D22's wanna be's
My truck is quite lazy or my right foot is but sometimes when im relaxed & we on open road with no passangers, its a flying machine, goe's like poo off a wet one, no pushing at all.

They should have good signatures like '' when i grow up, i wanna be a D22'' What ya think?

Either that or...you cant polish a ****...no point wasting good money on something as poor as a D22 ;)

You cant say that, thats my saying about my truck
& I did polish my **** but I dont have timing belt issues, bottom end issues, LIMP MODE issues, flaking paint issues, injector issues, prop shaft seal issues, interior button issues, the list is endless, it is however 12 years old now so cant prance around posing in a new up to date truck with new reg but I will still stop & help you when you break down, thats not if its not too embarrassing? :thumbright:

If you go for the L200, just make sure it has its curtesy hairdryer in the rear cubby box :thumbright:
