Hi All, Recently sprayed the chrone grill black on my black navara D40 - saw it done on a silver one and thought it looked really good. Anyone done the same? I was sure I saw it done here before. Its sprayed a matt black - not sure if I should go for the gloss effect - would like your opinion. Will post a few pics shortly.

I colour coded mine with a twist:

Yes mate, painted and laquered, get decent laquer though otherwise it will chip badly.D40alton said:
If you're not worried about colour coding, you could do it with Plasti Dip, it's durable against stone chips :wink:

Did you guys key the chrome before spraying? as its not the best stuff to get paint to stick too.

Mine was rubbed down and keyed, and decent primer was used :wink:
