Hi Guys & Gals
Greetings from Mallorca!
First time here. I'm usually found on old VW forums but I've just bought a Navara Crewcab after hankering after one for a couple of years. My usual ride is an old 1965 VW splitscreen crewcab pickup but its not so good over the winter due to it not being waterproof and has no heating!!! LOL. I thought the Navara would be a good choice to drag me into the modern world whilst keeping the flexibility of a crewcab :wink:
Picked up a 2006 D40 LE this week with 68k on the clock. One private owner. Its in pretty good nick except for a couple of scratches and some corrosion around one of the roofbar mounts. The paint is bubbling and I'm guessing its something to do with the mounting bolts. Going to see the dealer the PO bought it from tomorrow to see if I can get this sorted under the Nissan Warranty. Its supposed to be valid for 6 years for bodywork corrosion so there is still 6 months to go, but don´t know if its owner transferable or not. We shall see
This is it (excuse the nipper, he thinks its his and couldn´t get him out of the shots
)
And the old crewcab its teaming up with.......
Will be scouring these forums regularly to get myself up to speed :wink:
Cheers
