based on how much snow we actually get I dont think you'll have much trouble.
TBH alot of my advantage this morning was the 4wd, but wider tyres create more rolling resistance in snow and struggle to dig into the grippy stuff underneath.
Have a look a WRC cars in snow, it looks like they have wheels from a 2CV on!

Not really a problem tbh, my rims are 22"x 10" the tyres inflated are almost a foot wide, so i have a nice big foot print that helps keep it fairly stable in the snow, i also have tyres that are specialy for 4x4's SUV's etc, decent tread considering they're low profile.

Now if you had sports tyres on, then i think it would be all over the place?

I suppose the short answer would be the stock wheel/tyres would perform a little better in the snow, but on a dry day it would be a different story

Anyway, small price to pay for looking so sexy!

Yeah sorry for delay mate, i've been so busy with work, gotta work all weekend again :( glad of the work etc, but you can have too much of a good thing.
Also i was gonna wait till i got my front bar fitted before pics, but it turned up damaged, i just got the replacement today, and guess what?..........it's damaged!

Is it just me or does everybody else always have probs when buying online? i mean having stuff delivered.
When i got my first D40, i ordered various goodies including a roll bar, the roll bar came damaged, after a bit of agro with the company, i got it replaced, the replacement was also damaged but we managed to make one up from two undamaged sections.

Then when i got my second D40, i went through the same process with a different company, and actually had 3 roll bars delivered before i got one without dents.

I have to say though, i've had quite a bit of stuff delivered from AutoStyling and never had a prob, just a bit pee'd off now as i have to get another replacement front bar.

Anyway, i'll get a day off and get some pics up

The replacement front bar turned up damaged aswell !!
You really are not havin a load of luck with them. What have they had to say about it?

Ordered my tube for the roof bars yesterday, I had to get it from the same place as you in the end as was finding it hard to source some locally. So hoping to get mine finished soon aswell

Hi mate, gotta speak to them in the morning about the bar, atm i'm thinking life's too short for all this faffing about but oh well.

Glad you're getting sorted with the tube, yeah that size is as rare as rocking horse ****! took me ages to source some.

I really will get a rough how to up over the weekend, as the roof bar replacement is a bit trickier than you might think. Hopefully get it up tommorow night

I know how you feel mate...Not sure if you remember, but nearly had the Nav nicked off the driveway a few months back so thought I would get some bollards for the driveway...To keep them in keeping with my cottage, I bought some nice victorian ornamental bollards that weigh 20kgs each.......Guess what....? They turned up damaged. The courier came back to collect them today, and as I passed them to him, he picked it up and threw them into the back of his van....What a tosser.....He even admitted that he was the bloke that delivered them....So I ripped him a new ******* for damaging them...It's the couriers mate...they just don't f**king care!!!

Thanks mate
That will be a great help :thumbleft:

Its the couriers that let the companies you buy the bits from down!!

The amount of gear that we have delivered and is damaged is unbelivable!!

I was doing an install on freezer coldroom at one of the Macdonalds i do, so i arranged for the condensing unit to be delivered straight to site as i would be there ripping the old gear out, delivery driver turns up, now baring in mind this bit of equiment is worth approx ÂŁ2500 and it weights about 40kgs and has fragile, handle with care all over the box, he doent take his tail lift all the way up and the just dragged the box of the wagon and bang onto the tail lift, it then fell on its side!!I went ******* ape **** at him, i opened the box and the unit was cabbaged outer casing all dented and it had bent pipework and everything. I was so close to ripping his head off and stuffing it up his **** after he came out with the coment "our insurance should cover it" they are just not ***** in the slightest, not only the fact that i now had a damaged unit, the freezer im working on is now out of service with approx ÂŁ15,000 of stock in it thats now defrosting!! I then had to repair the unit as it had to be fitted to get the coldroom up and running again to save the stock and then order new covers for it, which meat that i then have to go back to the store with the replacement parts which i cant charge for the time as ive already quoted for the work..
