New Navara instead of Transit Connect

Hi all,

Been looking for a new vehicle for my business for a while.

At the minute I have a transit connect van that I run about in and a freelander td4 that I use for the winter, as we do a lot of deliveries in rural areas that have never seen a gritter or a snowplough ever.

Once a week I put a half load in the connect and that's about the only time it's load bay is used to any great capacity.

Does anyone who has a d40 with a canopy have the measurements of the internal space in the back ?

Thanks

Kevin

Land man is right.
I've just sold my roll n lock. And bought a hardtop
To get the extra room. But even with that its a lot better for me.
But not the same as a connect that would be much bigger
I don't know how these guys can use these roll shutters
I could only get my work boots and lunch box in the back.

Intresting place to keep your slippers :dunno
I wasn't talking about the storage compartments,
With the backseats folded up I had a 42" LCD tv in the back.

Really I thought you was talking about that little storage bit with the netting bit on
I have my kids seats in the back. Only pulled the chair back to get the tool kit
I didn't know they folded up. That's handy to know.

Yeah, I believe they fold up, and you can take out the little storage bin thingys, so it makes a decent space for "stuff" :thumbleft:

My girlfriend used to drive a Transit Connect for work. As far as I remember, the load space wasn't as long as in the Navara it had the bulkhead too, but was higher than the canopy on the Navara. Unless you are loading something high, that can't be turned on its side, you should get almost the same amount in.

The one main disadvantage of the Navara will be the fuel consumption.
