Afternoon all,

I'm J from Warwickshire, self employed techno ***** in the telecoms trade !

Just taken receipt of a 58 plated Navara in Storm Grey Outlaw ( + Premium Pack ).

On contract hire direct, bought as a company vehicle and for hauling the caravan & family around Europe !

So far 250 miles done, and loving it :partycheer:
Was fantastic in the poor conditions this morning, I'll often be found sculking around Basingstoke, Newbury & Hatfield ( where my current clients are based )

Once the rain stops I'll get a couple of pics up, although she's no longer clean

I look forward to joining in with this great forum, and particularly keen to do some light green laning around the UK.

Cheers

J :p

Welcome to the site :thumbright:

I also tow a caravan all over Europe and UK What caravan do you have if you don't mind me asking

Cheers for the welcome, this site is a lot mor friendlier than some ( car based ) out there !!

At present we've got a Swift Utopia ( basically a special edition Challenger 525 from Broadlane C'vans )

It suits us due to the fixed bed at rear ( across the van width ) and twin singles at the front for the sprogs. For a single axle its been super stable behind my Audi A6 ( which is on fleabay now ), we've not had it behind the Nav as yet ( hopefully in March ).

Having only used the c'van in the UK, we're keen to get over the water and explore northern france this year with a trip to Jersey in June as well.

J

Hi J

We have at the moment a Sterling Eccles 5 berth but getting new Swift twin wheeler in March. Back bathroom fixed bed etc etc cannot wait. We travel to France or Italy :sunny: every year. We are off in March as well to Weymouth (I think).

You will notice a change when you tow with the Truck keep an eye on the Speedo. It makes it so much more relaxing when you are towing

As everyone else has said - welcome :thumbleft:

I'm from near Southampton - if you find any local (mild  ) green lanes - let me know, I'm dying to try it off road (but only have the standard BFG Wrangler tyres  )

Cheers,

Matt

Wranglers are Goodyear mate, BFG are BG Goodrich, and would be much better off road :thumbright:
