Going to get some xenon sidelight bulbs and number plate bulbs for my d40. Do these need to be the can bus ones? Same with interior lights. Not sure if I will change them but would be handy to know. Cheers

No, don't need canbus ones.
In fact, avoid them as they're the ones that can catch fire!
