Just filled up my nav 07 auto
£95 from asda. Computer says
Now fuel range is 351 miles is this right on a full tank
I got to travel from Bristol to Cumbria on Thursday towing a caravan a distance of 288 miles
Average mpg of 15 mpg
Just think the tank range is a bit poor
My 55 reg navra Manual was far better on fuel and distance

Dunno how you work that out, mine did Whitby to Liverpool & back towing trailer with Nissan Bluebird & I averaged 23 MPG.

15MPG is pretty bad, what's the caravan made of? lead? :lol:

automatic is always gonna be worse on fuel

Mine tows a twin axle tin tent 07 auto and if lucky computer says 19mpg :eekout

most times computer says no!!!! :shock: :lol:

Just going on what the computer said last time we took the caravan are you sure there 4 auto I was under the impression it was a five speed auto and my old one was a 6 speed manual

Auto are heavier than manual... I get 20 max outta mine, of towing a lot less for sure

Euro 4 is the evolution of engine not the number of gears :thumbright:

Blank your egr and an get a pdi tuning box.
I got 29.6 return trip Huddersfield/Birmingham.
And do about 23mpg with 1600kg tin tent on Hudds/Wales return trip.

Yeah i totally agree, my Euro 4 auto was doing about 21mpg

Fitted a DTE but had it on the loud setting, so mpg not really any different, but very pokey, then blanked the EGR and often see 25-27mpg now. So taking my driving style into account, i'm quite happy with that :wink:

Excuse me for being a c$€k but was an ERG and how do you blank it off i also fitted the diesel tuning block

Saying that though, you could, I put a tenner of diesel in last week & needle aint even moved, aint used nowt :mrgreen:

(truck aint moved either though)
