Rear speakers help

Hi chaps. Took one of the rear door cards off earlier hoping to be able to easily install some 6.5" rear speakers.

Although there are speaker grills on the rear door cards, there are no mounts.

I also couldn't see any speaker cables, even though when I installed the new head unit, there were rear speaker cables in the block.

Any advice on how to mount these?

what you do is, line the speaker up so that u know where your putting it, and you can make your own mount, just cut a mold out of 3/4 mdf or ply wood/board, or you can fiber glass something nice, your call, upload a pic of the door, ill see if i got any old molds hanging around and ill send u a shot so you can design one, and the speaker wires, are supposed to be hanging or wraped up in the harness, what you can do is check the ammount of wires from the power window switch, and door lock system and compare it to the ammount leaving the door, (harness on the outerpart of the door leading to the body) or you might just have to run over new cables,

im not too good at explaining but i hope its a bit helpfull

Thanks Slim. I'll take the door card off and take a photo when I have a spare minute. There are definitely rear speaker cables in the loom behind the head unit. Just couldn't see any behind the rear doors. You're right though they're probably wrapped up and tucked away somewhere.
