My 2007 pathfinders driver door lock buzzes when locking, looking through this forum I can see I need a new door lock actuator but my question is, does the navara door lock actuator fit the pathfinder if so what age range can I look at?

Also the keyless entry on the same door doesn't work, the passenger one and boot one works, will this be linked to the actuator fault or will I need a new door handle as well?

Thanks

first my drivers side did this & was fixed under warranty (good will as out of warranty at time) now as far as I know they didn't change the actuator I think they disabled the deadlock as I don't here that clunk. anyway now the passenger side does the same and has done so for many months without issue as it still locks/opens ok. I reckon if you can disable the deadlock via the OBD link thingy you can essentially rid the buzz. but all this is pure speculation.

yes I think the nav will fit also the rear locks will fit front if you grind off the child lock latch I think..

Thanks Steve, took the door panel off again today and found the pin sticking out, tapped in back in and now all fine.

Still have problem with the keyless entry on that door, am going to take driver and passenger door handles off and plug the passenger keyless switch into the drivers side to test the switch, nissan say the switch can be changed with out changing the door handle.

So does anyone know how to remove the exterior door handles, I took the grub screw out, which allow the end bit to come of but didn't want to go any further as didn't want to break it. Would workshop manual show me how to get them off, if so where can I get one?

yeah just done mine too very

didn't need to remove door card, you can push the lock mechanism outwards (after removing the 3 star nuts) & just squeeze in a flat head screwdriver to push the pin back into place
