Hi, new to the forum, first post!!

Just bought a Navara d22 03 plate, love the truck but got mass squealing when in full lock either side. Think its the power steering belt that needs tightening but I haven't got the foggiest clue how, anyone got a dummies guide with pictures?? Lol

Thanks,

Adam

Undo the 14mm idler pully locking nut, then tighten the 12mm adjusting bolt on the idler until the belt is tensioned, lock up the 14mm nut, simples.

If it's a creaking metal on metal sound when on full lock, then grease the steering lock-stop faces located on the front and rear on the front hubs and lower wishbones.

BTW pop into the introduce yourself section and tell us about you and your truck :thumbright:

No need to jack up the truck but you have to crawl under, at the front and rear of each of the wheels you will see a concave plate (just like a quarter moon), just put a bit of grease in each of the plates and your done :thumbright: and try and remember not to put it on full lock :slaphead you can get new plastic covers for the "bolts" on the steering, Milners sell them I believe but I find the grease easier.
