Im thinking of fitting a bumber similar to this, but not sure if it would be an issue with MOT or insurance.

Anyone have any idea

Not much difference to this so can't see why it should be a problem IMO

I always fancied a ARB winch bar,Australians have some awesome bars including polished aluminium. Also there is a company called Herd in the US who make amazing bars for bigger trucks Ram's etc. But is it not just a tad "Overkill" for the UK. I havn't seen a stray Bison or Roo about recently .And the deer on the A9 ain't that big.Nor do I go rock scrambling much

You should see the size of some of the Red Deer we have, as big as a pony and as hard as nails. I clipped one a while ago and it cost my insurer ÂŁ2000 to fix the damage on the Nav.

A full bull-bar/bumper setup would be ideal for me if they were allowed.

As long as they don't learn to swim then I will be fine. No seriously most people don't need that level of protection up front do they ???

I have a stainless A bar which is for show only, It wouldn't take a hit of any force. I changed one about 2 years ago because somebody reversed into my previous one and left a dent with there tail lift hinge bolt !!!! Simply show that's all they are good for

Mine's similar,But lets be honest it wouldn't stop a sheep never mind a big animal without it being twisted and fooked up.IMO
