quick question re battery in key fob

getting harder to lock truck using key fob, but dont want to remove it and fit new if its going to screw with the NATS alarm.
i think this has been covered but just asking last thing i need is a dead truck just for the sake of a £5.00 battery :roll:

It's fine to just change it Paul. Buy a good quality one, cheapo's are not worth the money.

if you do lose the remote settings, dave at billcar showed me a trick to sync the fob again
I will try and dig out the instructions a take a pic.
batteries.....buy cheap, buy twice. a lot sooner.
I bought a decent battery and a cheap one. the cheap one is flat after 9 months.

Paul the Nats system is battery powered only the locking is..

quick update got a new battery for the key fob, swapped it over no worries or stress no loss of key program or interference with the NATS system.
remote works as new again and locks easy from a distance unlike the old battery that struggled to lock the truck

sent little fish out for a week to wash cars to get the cash together and just feed him bread and water to save more cash :lol:
