Fog lights

I have D40 without factory fitted front fog lights.

Despite lack of fog lighs, all the cables are there. However, what I found out they don't respond, like they weren't connected to anything.

Have somebody retrofitted fog lights, please?

Put a fuse in?

Well, I tried to put fuses in the all empty spaces. Didn't work, so I think it must be something else.

Which fuse is responsible for front fog lights, btw?

I think theres fuses in both the under bonnet fuse boxes for them.

You'll probably need a relay too I guess....

I checked the fourth fuse box and no, it is not where the issue is. Fuse was already in place. I changed it just to make sure, but it didn't help.

Where is the front fog lights switch located in Navara? I assumed it is together with back front light. Now I think that perhaps I am not turning them on at all.

Btw: location of the fourth fuse box: For God sake!!

Lol yea 4th box is ******* stupid...

On the main light stalk is a front and rear fog light switches rotates on the main stalk.... Guessing you don't have....

Yup, I do have rear fog light switch there. I assumed it turns on front ones too, but perhaps I am wrong and they should be turned on separately?

Yes mate its a two position switch fronts then rear.. So that's your problem, try Thornton breakers or eBay I belive its plug and play.

As above, on left stalk, control for side and main beam, another dial in front of that for fogs.

Hi. I've had the same issue with front fogs so this thread has been a great help!

But...

The only indicator stalks I can find with the extra fog light position are for auto lights as well, would this be a problem?
