Bloody hell. Tucks getting his hands dirty! Didn't you ask your agri mech to swap them for you when he was there?

I thought about it, the JCB bloke was in yesterday to fit the door that dad smashed off ( it was the wrong door so he's got to come back  ), he ended up doing a bit of greasing etc as I thought he'd do it properly

Re: What have you done to your TRUCK today ?

Pulled the 2 work lights from the roll bar and fitted my " NEW " old reversing lights. The red thing is a rev bleeper which hooks into the sidelights to switch off at night

Had to take a drive into town. Pathy was all over the shop, wallowing about in the corners  WTF
So sat in the waiting room, there was a bit of this   and a bit of that   and then
Those alloys have been sat in the shed for 18 months and I never checked the pressures  Got the compressor out when I got home. I thought my lotto numbers had come up, 19,22, 25 and 28.   good job I checked as we have to go to Bristol tomorrow :D

Those peeps with snorkels, I used these little A2 security self tappers, That safari head cost ÂŁ75 to replace.
They are only 10mm long, better than just a Jubilee clip keeping it attached.

Re: What have you done to your TRUCK today ?

My early night spoiled, lads mate put he's car in a ditch, no prizes for guessing who got woke up to drag it out, things you do for your kids and their mates but hi ho couldn't leave it there.

Re: What have you done to your TRUCK today ?

Well the bag of bits that came with the snorkel had a small black self tapper, so I just drilled a small hole in the snorkel head and put that in to lock it tight. I read what diydave said yesterday and had wondered what the screw was for. Don't panic first removed the head and put a rag in the pipe so that all plastic waste would come out when I pulled the rags out. Readjusted the reversing lights and did some more work on the Abar Led light. It's starting to take shape. I took the clamps off as they looked **** and I have came up with plan D

In 6 years of using air con everyday I've never had it re gassed only filter changes on average of 3 times a year and it still freezes my nuts off...

Yeah, I did think about not bothering, but the vehicle has 1 more year of warranty, so thought it best to get it done this time so they don't have any wriggle room if there is any problems during the next year. :thumbleft:

Oh you didn't want to do that mate. I HOPE everybody was OK,the truck is only a bit of tin and can be replaced. As long as everyone is fine, then that's what you pay insurance for.
