So yes I've done it, I used the pathfinder mirrors that have electric fold as well...
So the issues involved, the mirrors I have, have 2 plugs as they have 3 wires for mirror glass adjustment, 2 for indicators, 2 puddle lights, 2 for heater elements, 2 for fold and I believe another 5 wires connected to the mirror adjustments but as yet not worked them out, I think they are for auto dip for reverse? But not sure... And not needed IMO..
The mirror glass adjustment are on the same size plug as the as the original basic mirrors, but thanks to nissan the wiring configuration is different but heated is the same.
So you needed to add a wiring loom of at least 6 wires, I took the indicators and puddle lights directly back to the BCM I can give more info on this if required. And made a connection (so far) for the mirror fold via an alarm module that auto folds on alarm activation and unfolds on ignition on, I'm waiting for a micro switch and then plan to cut out the blank on the mirror glass adjustment switch so I can fit the switch and have open/close option when needed..
