Hi, is the 32mm hub nut a normal right handed thread?

I started to do mine earlier this evening but ran out of time, however at the time I was struggling to get the nut off so will try again tomorrow and maybe use a little heat on it.

Thanks,

Jamie..

Pretty sure they are normal thread and tight as a nuns aunt!! I found it easier to slacken it a little before jacking up and taking the wheel off, a 32mm deepish socket did the job for me :thumbleft:

Put a big bar on the wheel nuts and then go anti clock wise with a big ratchet extension and put all your strength into it.

It will crack

Good luck

Has anyone got a preferred supplier of these front hubs, there seems that many and the prices seem to vary a lot,i have seen good reports by members even on the not so expensive ones,is it just the better make bearings or is there more to it? Mick.

Thanks for all of the replies, I went back out yesterday morning and put the biggest bar I could find on to it and she came undone..

Great Tip Sheepy, about loosening slightly before jacking Truck up.

Feels and sounds so much better now..

Another money saving job that I probably wouldn't have attempted if it weren't for this great site :clappy:
Cheers...
