hello i have a 2007 navara d40 and it hasn´t foglights mounted from the factory. i have bought aftermarket foglights bur i cant get it to work. i have read the wiring diagram but still no solution on how to get power to the light, is it the combined lever i have to switch or what?

They are turned on using the same control as the rear fog light, just turning one notch more.
Does yours have that type of switch? Assuming it does then is there a fuse fitted for it in one of the many fuseboxes?

You might have to add a relay in the fuse box as well. A multimeter may be a handy tool to check for power supply.

i have the turning control. when i turn it on, a yellow symbol is lighten in the dashbord. i wonder if the idpm gets the right signal then?
The yellow or amber I would say indicates the rear fog light.
The first position on the knob turns the front fog lights on and the next position turns the rear on.

But i only have the switch for rear fog light. Is it possible to only change the switch to one with front foglight control? I mean is Every cable and relay and so on allredy there in the car?
Yes I believe the wiring is there, you may perhaps have to add the relay though. Others have certainly done it by adding a new stalk with front fog light position.andréC said:
You can put the console into test mode to see if the lights all work. From memory you push the right button on the console while turning the ignition on.
