Hi looking for a Bluetooth OBD2 Diagnostic Scanner? to use with the Torque app? to read fault codes, saw post and an amozon link somewhere but cant find it now:-(
Which is the best unit please?

Also is there a code number to fault translation any where please

(engine is flat as with DPF symbol lit after a couple of weeks battery disconnected. )

Id driven pickup with front panel off and a few sensors unplugged, now there plugged back in..

Just wondered if i had a fault or if ECU had to be reset before lights would go out and she would perform ,

At some point soon tuning and DPF removal will be read up on .

Thank you for the link ,Just reading up it , hope to give it a try.
But will buy a modual and Torque app too as it sounds a good tool to load on the Carputer when i get round to fitting it ,
Pick up needs moving to Engineering co this week to build winch bracket , bumper, and suspension lift in order to fit bigger tyres .
Hence need the limp mode sorted quick.

I have the same EML327 on my D40 with the full version of torque. I never unplug it, and it doesn't knacker my battery. Sometimes it needs the odd unplug/plug in to get seen again by the phone, but that's it.

i have an autel al419 handheld diagnostic scanner, would the eml327 and torque app pretty much do the same and does the torque app show all fault codes, generic and manufacturer specific ?
from what i have seen so far ,it looks like quite a good app

What I'm after is I've rigged the dash screen on a switch to show a av input so was wanting to put the torque app from my phone onto the dash screen for live data feed back.
+ I can run films on dash from my phone :)
I've still a little touching up here and there before I write a how to!

On my torque,I have it displaying engine temperature, boost pressure, voltage, GPS speed, fuel rail pressure and 0-60mph. It is capable of so much more.
