Just a quickie is this item all part of the fuel rail or can it be bought as a seperate item? Anyone any experience of this fault? Nisan claiming nearly 5hrs to do the repair? :shock: :evil:

My Truck is also giving me the P1272 code. Mechanic is fitting a new pressure relief valve for me next Thursday, knowing my luck it'll be the SCV although mechanic seems pretty sure it is the PRV so we'll see.
Truck drives fine as long as it's not taken over 3.5k revs..

hopefully mine will be here later today. Sod's law is though that it hasn't faulted at all today, and I have been launching it off the line and driving it hard on some open roads. I might just keep it in its box until it starts messing about. I do wonder if now its been popped a couple of times, it has sorted itself out. I have another 200 mile drive tomorrow, so will see how it goes.

sorry never saw this, thanks for the pm Keith. Hmmm unsure what I can say, in my case as said I had lots of new parts fitted, Nissan had fitted a consort in a port so that when it went into limp mode I hit a button and it recorded what was happening with the motorPeewee142 said:
at the time (in fact it was recording from start up), the stealer had said I may be driving wrong :faint . Nissan had their own super techs work on my truck and I think they just basically changed stuff to elimate those parts! When the main loom was changed (and solved the issue) I was told the original loom was causing the error code when in fact there was no issues with the fuel system!

Thanks for the heads up cpcm69, that helps heaps. I wasn't sure if you had a certain section repaired or as you mentioned the whole engine loom swapped in.
I'm having very similar limp mode issues, which had previously been sorted about 6 months ago when the rail relief valve and SCV where replaced.
Been considering a wiring fault for a while now as it's very intermitant. Was a long shot, but I was hoping you may have been told which particular area of your loom was broken/damaged.
