Turns over but won't start

I've started my truck tonight as it was close to the garage door and I needed to get into it. It started first time as usual, I left I running and after about a minute it cut out and wouldn't start. I've had a power pack and my other car turning it over but it just keeps turning over.
A few months ago I had the switch on the side of the the pump changed.
Any ideas what could be happening would be appreciated.

Have you tried the fuel primer pump (under the fuel filter)?

No, thing that I find strange is, I've done about 15 miles today with stopping and starting.
But as you've said, it sounds fuel. I'll try that in the morning as I've been turning it over and there's been some curten twitchers.

air in the fuel line

Primer or other fuel line might be leaking in air.
Was it idling as usual or sounded a bit rougher?

It did sound a bit rough, I got something out the garage and took it inside came out and thought that sounds a bit lumpy, then it cut out.

Try priming the filter before starting. Should be an air leak somewhere in your system.

I went out this morning and primed the filter as advised put a booster on the battery and up she went! It says I've only got 56 miles in the tank so I'm going to order a new fuel filter and fill her up, I think it might of picked up some muck off the bottom of the tank?
