I've had a good search back through posts relating to radio problems but can't find anything that matches this. I've got a 2011 Tekna 2.5 auto with SatNav, Bluetooth and Music Box type of radio unit. I keep having problems with radio reception. Most of the time it's absolutely perfect. Then suddenly I'll get either annoying interference or it will go to complete white noise. It will still scan to a radio station OK and display the station details on the display but still just white noise. Usually Classic FM remains OK most of the time but BBC stations just go. Can't pinpoint any common cause i.e. it's not related to a poor reception area or the use of specific electrical equipment on the truck.

If I had a dodgy aerial connection then I would have expected it to be poor all the time but most of the time it's absolutely perfect. Any ideas?

Mine does the same, but only when I'm in a specific same area, Chapel Street, Brid.

Anywhere else seems ok.

Mine started doing this after I installed a GPS dash cam. When the GPS does it's locating thing (every couple of mins) it craps out my radio signal. I've tried ferrite blocks on the wiring to the dash cam but it's still doing it. Thinking I may purchase a separate external antenna for the radio and see if that helps.

My oem radio was always poor for reception. Although Radio 3 was always strong (not into classic concerts!).

I fitted an aftermarket head unit expecting it to be resolved. No.
I ended up getting an amplified aerial (not one of those inline amps).
Reception is now great, not sure why nissan don't fit an amplified version as standard.

I've just been looking at in-line FM/AM amps on ebay, maybe for a few quid it could be worth a try, failing that what aerial did you buy/fit?

Inline are useless, any interference is just made worse. I tried one .....

Autoleads do them at a reasonable price, I bought a more expensive one for ÂŁ50. Don't get confused with dab amplified though.
Cheers buddy, I'll look them up!
