My view on it mate:

It's done a few miles but, that's reflected in the price.

If the tacky accessories were removed, it will look a lot better, so providing there's nothing untoward, it doesn't sound a bad deal :thumbright:

Nice looking truck,
The usual really, test drive, check 4wd function in a straight line, engaging/disengaging, you have a vehicle similar, so you'll know if something isn't right, Take someone with you for safety etc, preferably a mechanically savvie guy.
Do a HPI check on it.
Thoroughly check all associated paperwork, mileage recorded on service/mot all tally up don't be swooned by the look of it.
Before you go.
Think up all the questions you can, including whats the least Carlo will accept, ring him.
You should be able to suss out to a degree the seller and the truck from the phone call.
Sorry if its a bit brief

obviously Carlo's a dealer, which is fine on its own, but I take it its not his truck.

as I'd do usually, check all paperwork checks out for MOT vs mileages etc vs any history
as per my 2 year ownership history and advice from being on here I'd look for:
any timing chain work done?
EGR blanked off?
oil servicing intervals?
fuel filter replacement?
all switch gear working as it should. esp 4 wheel drive system: 2wd >4hi > 4lo and that it resets back to 2wd from each and that it shows in display correctly - (may indicate transfer switch issue)
check a/c works as it should. adjust temps to hi & lo and make sure each setting works. feel at each side to verify temp + and -
check for thick smoke from exhaust on start-up. test the truck from cold ideally, rev to 4k at rest and when driving up to 4k in each gear and again look for smoke!
listen for any squealing on full lock to each side, indication of drive belts condition (or tension)
listen for any rumbling above 55mph, may indicate propshaft universal joints (UJs) wearing - ask if these have been replaced?

anything else I'd say is non Navara specific, just good practice in buying any vehicle.
good luck :thumbleft: :thumbleft: :thumbleft:

Looks ok! I payed ÂŁ6000 last year for my 57 (so was then the same age as this now) with 95k on the clock, but it was private sale
Make him a offer he'll probably refuse the first offer but might give a counter offer somewere in between

All of the above +

Why that type of tow bar - usually for heavier type trailers.
NISMO offroad sticker - so how much has it done off road & what is it like underneath.
As it is a manual - when was the clutch changed, if ever, and to what - DMF or SMF.

I'm not sure on the window bling (or the roll bar tbh) but apart from that looks tidy. Advice above is good but just to put price into perspective mine is a 60 plat 2010 and cost me double that *gulp* so don't be too harsh on yourself. It is only worth what you're happy to pay for it.

Guilty confession - I LOVE that Nismo sticker. Should I get one forum members? Should I?

I saw them a few months ago and liked them but thought they might look out of place on a standard nav! Mabey with a lift and some chunky tires?
That said I'm having some nismo roof bar sticker's made up lol same size and font as the standard "navara" ones.
gona get a few extra too in case anyone wants any?

looks good apart from the bonnet deflector and the lack of grille which looks like a giand hole, showing us the radiator?
