Well time to pick up the nav after a day in the hands of billcar, interested to see the difference following the remap on performance and mpg. Averaged 28 coming down yesterday, granted tonight's 200 mile trip will be a bit busier.

coming home after weren't great due to the traffic...have been getting low 40s though on some motorway journeys. But it still does 1 mile travelled to 1 mile distance to empty. But deffo on the extra power.got motor booked in thursday for my dual exit exhaust.

Over the moon with the results, gained 10mpg (37.5 average) on the journey home, distance to empty on the display when I filled up prior to setting off was 355, it only dropped by 102 miles despite it being 190 mile journey.
Happy with the increased performance too :)

Don't forget photos of the new exhaust system

So you felt the extra oommpphh :). Will do

Depends how you drive and how much extra weight your carrying...im finding myself put my foot down more now since the mod!. I drive regularly up and down m11 between London and Stansted about 25 or so miles, but there's loads of inclines which screws up my figures.

10mpg saving is quite a jump. I'm euro 4 manual and would be over the moon with that sort of figure. But when I contacted billcar they said Id be looking at only 2-3 mpg gain.
I didn't expect that kind of gains but I did the same route home with the same speed setting on cruise control and that's what I got.

Have been up to Northumberland this weekend, a lot more hills and stop start but still averaged 33mpg.
I always carry a bit of extra weight due to big dog cages so happy with the figures, reckon I got another 80+ miles out of latest full tank

Yeah mate. Tbh I got the remap for the increased bhp/torque and any increase in mpg would be a bonus, turns out it's a bigger bonus than I expected.
I'm back to my normal short journeys to work/running dogs this week so will reset and see what I get, I was get about 21mpg.

Few days doing a lot of short start stop driving and averaged 25 which is up from 20 prior to remap. Happy enough with that

Strangely the 1st quarter of the tank gives the best figures the other 3 figures not so good.

Hi mate
I noticed that, it's just the first quarter tank that gets used is the top of the tank, I reckon when you fill up the actual gauge in the tank maxs out and you get more than full, diesel goes past the max, if that makes sense!
Notice how the reading on the dash stays full tank for your first 30 miles or so... Then it starts to drop.

you had the re map didnt you?
I think you have the same 06 (euro3) like me?

Did you see any mpg improvement?

Mines (auto) proper ***** at 270 - 300 (if i'm lucky!) miles per tank around town!
I'm thinking about the remap. May ring Billcar next week.

Cheers
Lee.

On motorway runs ive been getting high 30s low to mid 40s on some runs. Although im a poodler 60-65. Im just under half tank and im getting the dreaded 1 for 1 miles travelled. Yeah had the remap i think mpg has improved slightly but since ive got that extra power im putting my boot down more.

Im lee too!

The double chain steel turbo pipes and remap make all the difference deffo. Had my dual exhaust fitted Thursday looks good but only one exit pipe has fumes coming from it not sure why this is so going back there Friday for them to check it.

I've also got the auto, was getting 300 from a tank, now 400 since remap. As Lee said, the extra power is noticeable, slightly nicer engine note too I've found.
I'd say the remap is money well spent.

Saw the pics on your other thread, looks the nuts mate. Hopefully you get both pipes sorted on your next visit :thumbleft:

I get more than 400 to a tank. .is it because of the extra bits you've got? Wider wheels etc?. Im hoping they sort it i know we'll never get a v8 rumble but a nice little hum would be nice :)

Oh and how'd you add at the bottom of your posts what mods you've done?
