SAT NAV Question

A couple of questions on the standard factory satnav unit.

1) Can you use post codes or do you have toi have a full address (I have had trouble locating some places which my Tom Tom finds and locates staright away using the postcode)

2) What is the latest map (mine appears to be 2006 in a 2008 car), are there options for upgrading or is it a matter of paying a couple of hundred quid to Nissan.

3) Can the unit be easily converted to play DVDs or have a TV tuner linked to it

no...
yours is the latest i believe - when a new disc comes out they appear on ebay for about £50!
Yes, you can convert to DVDs tv and stuff, need to buy a few add - ons, lots on here about it, do a search :thumbleft:

Sat Nav- No postcode searched I'm afraid :x

With regard to the sat nav disk what colour disk do you have, I bought my Pathfinder new is Feb this year but it came with a 2006 lime green disk, I managed to get a 2008 blue disk off a member on here for £40

TV on you sat nav screen have a look at this thread

I have just taken the DVD out and it is a GOLD disc with the following on it.

Any help in sourcing an upto date Disc, either and original or a "back-up" copy if anyone has one.

I will be away for a couple of weeks but will have full access to e-mails if anyone has any offers.
