My New Toolbox

Hi all,

So, I got fed up of tools and stuff rolling around on the bed of my truck so I built one

To secure it to the rear C-Channel I took apart 2 of my C-Clamps and used the T-Bolt and Black dial nut.
You can stt them on the back of my box

Very nice.
Been thinking about making myself something like this but my diy missions usually end up not going to plan then I run out of time stick it in the garage and then forget about it until something falls over on it and brakes it

Looks good, not much good to me unfortunately as my tools fill the rear tub, rears seats and occasionally creep onto the front seat as well. :roll:

I built a draw system to go in the back. Quite pleased with the result but found it reduced my ability to put big things in the back.

I ended up strapping a roller toolbox to the load divider as a more flexible solution.

Looks great. nice work,

Any advice on building a sliding load floor? Thinking of a sliding floor and maybe a box or boxes built similar to this on top of the sliding floor?
And advise of know of anyone who could build this sort of thing would be great.
Seen the ready built sliding floors but they seem expensive for what they are.
Ideally want to install it without drilling or making permanent damage to the truck.
