As title really, I'm trying to work out specs etc compared to my pathfinder to see if there's anything I couldn't live without and I can't seem to find whether the v6 has xenon lights because I doubt I'd go back to normal lights now tbh. Can anyone with a v6 confirm?

 I did think of doing that  the only thing that'd concern me is something electrical goes wrong on the nav and Nissan void the warranty etc because of it. I'm pretty gutted tbh I don't think I can live with standard lights again after the past 10-12 years with xenons :( I can't believe Nisan didn't add them to the top end trucks

Halogen headlights i'm afraid. No options available, just upgrade the bulbs.

I know what you mean though once you have had genuine HiD headlights its hard going back to halogen which aren't a patch on them IMO.

Yeah, very poor halogens headlights I'm afraid! I've upgraded to the Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited and they make a big difference!
I've always wondered why they Xenon lights from the pathfinder were never fitted to the V6 as standard, as it seems to me that it would be a very straightforward thing to do on the production line??

I put night breakers on the Mrs car after the first time I drove that in the dark they're better but still not good compared to xenons :( I just assumed the adventura/tekna and the v6 navara had them until I noticed a thread here asking about upgrades on a tekna started me looking about the v6 I'm shocked tbh and gutted it's actually making me look at the amarok again that's how much I hate halogens

I think what Nissan have done with the new "NP300" Navara will be making a lot of people on here look at the Amarok!

Very true, I really hope it looks better in the flesh but I seriously doubt it it's also one of the reasons I was looking at the V6 whilst it's still available.

Me too, got mine a couple of months ago, decided to auto due to worn out left hip, what a difference it made to my driving position and comfort. Old hip sawn off yesterday and some ceramic and titanium thingy put in, anaesthetic well and truly worn off now and they are being pretty miserable with the Morphine!!
Sorry back on V6 chat, had 3 ton behind it for the first time this week and what a dream to tow with, especially the puling away and reversing on an incline! Last two times i did the same run with my 2.5 manual I used low 4wd which it didn't appreciate as it involved a corner while reversing, second time I left it in high 2wd and the clutch definitely didn't like that!!
Good luck with your light dilemma, I've never had them so don't know what I'm missing!!

Hope the pain eases soon mate,

And there lies the rub I've had them on the last 4 cars, my Mrs car (which she picked) doesn't have them I refuse to drive it at night despite fitting osram night breakers and god knows how many other lamps trying to get them up to scratch they're still not a patch on xenons. A lot of my work is out of hours a lot of driving at night etc hence I have so much reluctance in not having xenons.

Search using google "xenons for Navara".

My H4's are fine at the speeds I drive at, even with Euro beam stickers on. Also dead cheap to to fix - and in Spain I need to carry spare bulbs by law.

Amarok will only get interesting when they fit the 3L Audi V6 Euro6 Diesel, which is apparently coming...

I wouldn't want much less than my V6's 550Nm for towing my 5th wheeler, and a manual would be crazily tedious.

Many of us can remember when halogens came in and how much better they were than the old tungsten sealed beams!
