Hi couple of newbie questions, I'm in the process of chopping my ifor hard top down to create some tool storage, and I'm seeing a lot of bed covers for d40's are the beds the same dimmensions?

are the tailgates interchangeable ?

is there a place to pickup d22 tailgat handle surrounds at a reasonable price/or is there a cover that can be bought as mines got the usual spit plastic they all seem to get?

are the tubs interchangable as mines a bit rough anyway and if one comes at the right price I'd be tempted..

how easy is it to fit a double din stereo into a d22, is it just as simple as removing the cup holders?

d40 is a bit bigger so exterior parts are not shared for usage.
you can fit a double din really easy just get the whole dash out, its 2 shrews remove cigarette ligher and ash holders and pull it out. and replace. double din is good idea but i really like the cupholders on the d22 so i did single din kenwood unit with build in amplifier, KDC 346 went in like factory.

Thanks for replying, I agree the cup holders are good, but I've got a double din sat nav unit that I might not sell with the freelander or ive seen the pioneer android screen mirror system for maps etc..

also is there a handbrake cover on the market for these?, mines not in the best of Nick, and the previous owners dog appears to have been chewing on the release button lol, same area is there any suggested gear knob replacements?
